We seek to invest $1M+ in rounds before the formal Series A (aka pre-Series A rounds), where we are investing out of Moment II, a $37M institutionally-backed fund. The firm prefers to invest in early-stage companies operating in logistics, food, education, e-commerce, software development, and other sectors. In 2024, it made 3 investments, while as of Aug 2025, it has made 1 investment in this year.
He spent over 10 years as an early stage VC at Alloy Ventures. Prior to Alloy, Ammar ran the corporate development team at Cisco. He previously served as vice president of new business ventures at Cisco Systems, where he led new product efforts in the enterprise datacenter market. From 2000 to 2002, he was vice president of corporate business development, and in that capacity, he was responsible for Cisco's acquisitions, acquisition integration, investment, and joint venture activity on a global basis.
Clint co-founded Moment Ventures in 2015. He began his venture career as a co-founder of Formative Ventures, and was an early sales and marketing executive at C-Cube and SkyStream Networks. My most memorable startup experience was as the first sales hire at C-Cube Microsystems, the company that largely invented and popularized the MPEG video algorithm and he helped the company become the dominant supplier of digital video compression chips.
